Digital conversion to MP4 format
We will either convert in-house or using a trustworthy lab to convert your films. Your family history will come back to life when you can finally view them on a computer, phone, tablet or smart TV. Pricing: 8mm films as low as $0.22/ft, others $15 per unit. These historic films can be edited and reformatted in one single compelling story telling movie for the future generation. You will get a fairly reliable estimate for the work to be done if you have very large numbers of items and you don't know how many. For small volume, you will get an accurate estimate. You only pay for the true volume and content we deliver to you.
Quality and speed
All the work for photos, slides, negatives, albums is done in-house, at our studio in Hilton Head Island. We don't send your precious memories overseas like some other facilities do and they don't disclose it. Our standard is to produce high resolution images at no extra cost. Most of the work is completed within a week except for very large volume in excess of 5,000 units. VHS and DVD conversion are done here in studio while the old 8 or 16mm films are processed by a partner in Atlanta. We take care of everything for you at cost. The only extra is for shipping and handling.
color correction and minor repairs
Included in your price for the digital conversion, each single digital file is checked, color corrected if needed and other issues such as: minor defects, over/under exposure are taken care of at the basic level.
Many other benefits
All your material will be returned organized and packaged in the same format than the digital files in case there is a need for cross-references. Your digital files will be named and sequenced according to your need or our standard naming convention. They will be loaded in a digital flash drive that is compatible with any operating system or devices. Standard file format is JPEG but can be another format on special request. Need some prints - we can take care of that for you and you can be guaranteed to get top quality print since we have created the file. Need framing - we can take care of that too. Just ask.
