from farming to photography

Born in Northern part of Québec, Canada, I grew up on a dairy farm surrounded by family artists (painters and artisans), intricately connected to nature and my environment. I discovered a true passion for photography while in the Canadian Navy and have continue my education in that field with the goal to become a professional photographer.
While having a successful business career working for manufacturing industries and traveling around the world, I took several photo workshops while abroad. I slowly built my photo business working for magazines and local non-profit organizations. Finally made the commitment that my last career will be as a professional photographer.
In 2010, being confident in my expertise and personal skills with people, I opened my studio in Hilton Head Island, under the name of “thefrenchguy photography”. As the ranges of services kept growing, the name evolved to “thefrenchguy studio” to better reflect the level of services offered.
The studio gives me the latitude to do personal projects pushing the limits to the edge. Fine art photography has and will always be my muse and a way to grow as an artist, a photographer, and a creator to better serve my clients. My fine art images can be found hanging in someone house in US, Canada, New Zealand, France, UK and corporate offices.“All around us there are spectacular images and as long as there is light, there are an infinite number of wonderful images waiting to be created”.
